Joba’s Dog Soldiers beaded baseball cap, Modern Tradish (Lut Stamp, Colville):
Beaded baseball caps are popular with Natives, and you can see them all over Indian country. This one I made in honor of Joba Chamberlain, a Native American NY Yankees pitcher from the Winnebago Reservation in Nebraska. Here’s some info on Dog Soldiers.
Basically, this hat is Tradish to the fullest, and it honors our modern Native people. The bead work is throwback style, with four directions colors. New and old, past and present.
